The Story of Ngoc Quang Phat
Ngoc Quang Phat is located at: Long Thanh A area, Thot Not Ward, Thot Not District, Can Tho City, Vietnam.
- 2010: The company was established with very modest physical facilities, primarily engaged in supplying selected raw rice to domestic enterprises. After years of effort, through quality products, Ngoc Quang Phat Import Export Joint Stock Company gradually built a reputation in the rice industry.
- 2014: Recognizing the increasing demand for quality among rice consumers, the company invested in installing a rice processing line equivalent to a capacity of 20-22 tons per hour. The company's products met export standards and supplied domestic enterprises for export to foreign countries: Hong Kong, Dubai, the United States, etc.
- 2015: Following the development trend and aiming to improve processing procedures and enhance quality control to meet the market's stringent requirements, the company expanded its scale and invested in additional factory and storage systems covering a total area of 17,500 square meters with a total storage capacity of about 54,000 tons, featuring a closed-loop system from rice drying, milling, polishing to color sorting and packaging. With this system, impurities are removed from the stage of fresh paddy to the stage of rice color sorting, ensuring that rice is free from impurities while maintaining its color and flavor. The total capacity of the entire production line: 500-600 tons of finished rice per day.
- 2016: The company officially received a Certificate of Eligibility for Rice Export Business from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam.
- 2021: After the COVID-19 pandemic significantly affected the economy of Vietnam and the world at large, the Vietnamese rice market was also impacted by issues such as quality concerns, pesticide residues, and widespread mixing of rice varieties. In response, we decided to launch a domestic rice brand to meet export quality standards as well as provide consumers with affordable prices.
